Neil is interested in the ‘language’ of the Human body. He studies this through the mediums of drawing, painting and sculpture. He aims to capture the essential lines of energy within the human form to best portray passion, emotion and movement.

From a very early age Neil has been fascinated by how people reveal and express their inner feelings and state of mind through the way in which they move and position their bodies.

As an adult, he now realises that this interest has been born out of having been excessively shy as a child and adolescent, choosing to observe rather than participate. However, he has finished with dwelling on lost opportunity of the past, as he realises that the past is what has created him as the person and Artist who he is today, giving him the opportunity to channel his energy, passion and emotion into something else…
