Kathy Prest
|
Kathy’s work reflects her love for ballet and modern dance, a passion which is intimately projected through the vitality and fluid nature of her sculptures. Within her studies, Prest attempts to capture the spirit of the dancer, their grace and their supple, yet elegant physicality. Prest feels that working in bronze is crucial to capturing this sense of movement, which would ultimately be lost in the fine detail of mediums such as stone and clay. | |||||
