Rose Scott is a Cambridge based print-maker and artist who grew up in Suffolk. Educated at Norwich School of Art 1967-70 and Goldsmiths College of Art 1970-71.

Rose's mono silkscreen prints are based around visual sensations experienced whilst travelling around the coastal regions of North Norfolk and Suffolk as well as the Stour Estuary and the lakes of northern Sweden.

Rose is particularly interested in the way that colours on water are constantly changing according to different places, times of the day, seasons and weather conditions.

She builds up her prints in layers until she is satisfied that she has realised her vision.
